Plenty of hawker delights that will please anyone. The chicken curry with fresh noodles was delicious as was the CKT. Basic setting but clean and very enjoyable

If you've been looking for homemade noodles served in Malaysian food, then look no more. At hawker huat, the "egg noodles" they serve are homemade, and it's so delicious when served in dry sauce with curry chicken. Love the curry chicken as they're cooked with fragrant curry leaves. The Sarawak laksa was also very tasty, and I almost finished the whole soup. High-quality food served with a humble touch of perfection. Affordable price, too. The staff gave us homemade chilli paste to go with the fried noodles, which reminded me it would go very well with my childhood breakfast food, fried bihun, or vermicelli. They open early with the breakfast menu. Would definitely go back to check out my childhood food.

This place is the first Malaysian restaurant where I truly enjoyed the char kway teow! We never understood wok hei until today. The dish we sampled was truly delicious. We also had the nasi lemak with fried chicken drumsticks. The coconut rice was flavorful. The curry chicken dry noodle had a lot of protein, and the chicken tasted great, but compared to the other two dishes, it wasn't as memorable. The kopi tasted diluted, and all the condensed milk gathered at the bottom. We heard the fish porridge and curry puffs were nice, so we'll give them a try next time.

The laksa was tasty according to the wife even tho she had a blocked nose. Good portion size for the price. I had the signature beef noodles which was a little bland for my liking. There wasn't really much to the broth. Roti was yum and flaky but sauce was a bit runny. Wouldn't mind coming back to try other things.

I really enjoyed my meal here! The Signature Sarawak Laksa was absolutely delicious – rich broth, generous toppings, and perfectly balanced flavors. Definitely my favorite. I also tried the Sambal Fried Kway Teow, which was tasty with nice wok hei. Personally, I would love it even more if the sambal could be fried together with the noodles instead of served on the side, so the flavor mixes through evenly. That way the noodles can soak up all the sambal aroma, and I don’t need to mix it myself.

If you miss the hawker food in Singapore, you should give this place a try. This is the only place that I can find Singapore style breakfast items in Melbourne. Not exactly the same but close enough to bring back the good memories. Been here several times and the food has been consistent and service was always friendly.
